A Moment of Prayer

a moment of prayer for the non yt bodies who are told they are less

for the bodies of little girls and grown women who are told their bodies are not theirs

for the first generation americans who are told their parents are illegal

for the children. the children of now who will look at a man filled with hate as the symbol of our country.

the children of now who will soon become the future.

a prayer for the victims of america's racism

homophobia

misogyny

but also a prayer for

the lost souls who are now reassured in their own

racism

homophobia

misogyny

and a moment of prayer that the election of this man uncovers the blanket hiding our problems

instead of trapping them behind a wall.
