Instagram has become a space for creators of color to share their work and ideas with communities across the globe. I’ve been using Instagram as a way to keep track of and find new artists that are women of color. Finding their work has made me feel so much less isolated, especially when I feel alone in my identities and need some type of assurance that I am not the only one. These artists use all aspects of their identities to express their diasporic experiences. I follow various types of artists: painters, photographers, singers, tattoo artists, memers.
